I am a second-year pre-medical student attending the University of Virginia, pursuing a double major in Biology (B.A.) and Medieval Studies (B.A.). I'm an undergraduate researcher in the Charlton pediatric nephrology research lab through the Undergraduate Student Opportunities in Academic Research (USOAR) program supported by the Office of Citizen Scholar Development. I was recently invited to join UVA's Echols Scholars Program, a selective academic community. On Grounds, I'm actively involved in the Epsilon chapter of Pi Beta Phi and serve on the Education and Advocacy Committee of UVA's chapter of the National Organization for Rare Disorders (NORD). I am so excited to begin contributing as an editor for Quill & Quire!
