Co-Editor-in-Chief

Niamh Kierans is a third-year double majoring in English and Medieval studies. She is particularly interested in how contemporary historical fiction and medievalism give us access to the nature of daily life in the past. As co-editor-in-chief of Quill and Quire, she looks forward to helping other undergraduates gain experience in writing, peer-review, and publication, all while bringing new voices and ideas into the spotlight. 

Outside of medieval studies, Niamh is actively involved in music at UVA. She is member of the Univeristy Singers, Chamber Singers, and the a cappella group Hoos in Treble, of which she is assistant music director. Niamh has also written and released two albums of her own.
